Food & Drink

Hangout, meeting place, culinary hotspot.
Town Hall Hotel has long been a popular fixture on East London’s foodie scene and for a good reason.

Within the premises of the hotel you can find 3 very distinct venues.
Corner Room
- an informal haunt by day and intimate dining room by night, the restaurant is a familiar player on the evolving culinary landscape in this corner of the capital.

Da Terra, the one Michelin star proud successor of Typing Room, where exquisite tastes find place within the restaurant’s 8 or 12-course tasting menus.

And last but not least, Assembly Room, where visitors are invited to enjoy both coffees and nightcaps throughout the day next to Debbie Lawson’s infamous 'Persian Bear' carpet sculpture.

Located on the first floor of the Town Hall Hotel, the 30-cover, light-filled Corner Room is a place where neighbourhood folk can hang out any time of the day, and at reasonable cost. Chef Simon Shand looks to showcase big flavours with his daily menus of seasonal dishes drawing inspiration from his love of approachable French cooking.
Da Terra

Da Terra Restaurant & Bar

The new restaurant and bar from Chefs Paulo Airaudo and Rafael Cagali feature Latin American cuisine with Italian inspiration.

Da Terra’s fine dining concept puts food and flavour at the centre of the stage; Paulo and Rafael will serve Latin American inspired dishes with an Italian heart, roots of Airaudo and Cagali accompanied by selected wine references from all over the world.
